To gain admission into African Maritime Academy to undertake any of its programme involves sitting for an entrance examination.
Entrance examinations are conducted periodically throughout designated examination centres. Please contact the enrolment team to get detail of your entrance examination.
To start admission process in order to sit for an entrance examination, a prospective candidate must download application form. On completion on the form, a candidate should proceed to any commercial bank in Nigeria to purchase a bank draft in favour of African Maritime Academy to the value of the course applied for.

  • Regular Officers Course (ROC) - 15,000 NGN
  • Cadetship Officers Course (COC) - 15,000 NGN
  • Ratings - 15,000 NGN
  • Executive Officers Course (EOC) - 15,000 NGN

Once you have your bank draft and ohter supporting documents, scan and send your completed application form, bankdraft, and supporting documents to this email. Once application is received you will be posted to any of our designated examination centre and your examination date will be communicated to you immediately.
Alternatively, you can go to any of the following forms collection centre to obtain your application form:
African Maritime Academy administrative office. 36/35 Moshalashi Road, Egan Town, Lagos State, Nigeria.
African Maritime Academy, South West campus. Abojupa Town Planning Scheme, Eleekara, Oyo or any other collection center as advertised on TV, paper, or radio.

Step 4: Scan neccessary documents (e.g. O'Level Certificates, Testimonial, LGA Certificate, Birth Certificate/Age Declaration, Bank draft)

Step 6: Attach and Send all the aforementioned documents to
